If you have the job of transplanting small seedlings, and want to get the job done fast, and right… look to the long experience behind every Holland Transplanter. You can have your choice of single row units, or multi-row units, tractor mounted or tractor drawn. Holland does it all: digging the furrow, placing the plant in the soil, giving it a shot of water and fertilizer, and then repacking the soil back around the roots… faster and better than can be done by hand.
For planting greenhouse tray plug plants, our rotary planting unit is number one in its field. That’s why we call it the Rotary One. With only one operator, this efficient machine will plant more than 60 plants per minute. After an initial setting is made to fit your desired depth and plant spacing, plants are dropped into the rotating cups and the planter does the rest. Spacing and plant depth are both very uniform. This transplanter can be used as a single row unit mounted on a three point hitch, or any number of units can be mounted onto either a toolbar or a tractor-drawn main frame. In addition to the many standard features, available options include coulter blades, cultivator attachments, different plant holding trays and your choice of seats.
Quality design, workmanship and materials have made our conventional bare root transplanters the proven leaders for over 65 years. These three models can plant over 50 plants per minute, depending on plant spacings. Two operators feed the seedlings into rubber grippers which hold and protect the plant as it is guided into the furrow. A variety of optional plant holders are available for different type of seedlings. There is also an optional holder for your small greenhouse cell plants. Field spacing adjustments are easily made by changing sprockets.

Custom-build your planter to YOUR requirements.
Options like coulter blades, bed levelers, rubber packing wheels and cultivator attachments allow you to plant in different conditions, making this the most versatile transplanter on the market. And, like our rotary planters, these units can be used as a one row or multi row, either tractor mounted or tractor drawn.
Our Model 1302HC Main Frame is ideal for mounting two rotary or conventional planter units as a tractor drawn two row transplanter. It can be purchased with an optional 300 gallon water barrel and/or a fertilizer attachment with a capacity of up to 400 pounds of granular fertilizer. To give plenty of clearance at row ends, hydraulics will raise the entire frame (including all planters and attachments).
For larger acreage the Model 1304HC Main Frame is a rugged tractor drawn model. It is made to hold three or four Rotary One or conventional planting units, and can carry two optional 300 gallon water barrels as well as 800 pounds of fertilizer in the optional fertilizer attachments. Like the 1302HC it can also be raised at the end of each row, to give clearance during turning.
Holland’s 2-1/4″ solid diamond shaped toolbar is available in 6 foot or 8 foot lengths.
They are the recommended arrangements for use with 2 conventional units, which will not require fertilizer attachments. Includes a CAT 1 or CAT II 3-point hitch.
Our 4″ x 4″ or 4″ x 7″ Tool Bars are available in lengths up to 24′ and are the suggested choice for growers who prefer a tractor mounted setup. When equipped with our bolt-on CAT II three point hitch, these toolbars make a strong yet versatile setup. They give ample support for carrying the planting units plus fertilizer attachments.
