The company started in 1921 as a manufacturer of horse drawn road maintainers. The original York Stone Rake had the unique feature of a rake to finish off the road surface. It is this unique feature that has made the term York Rake synonymous with landscape rakes the world over -- after all: They invented it!
The Model MT24 is ideal for light duty maintenance and landscaping jobs with three(3) working positions. The unit is equipped with 10 x 2.75" semi-pneumatic tires. Teeth are 1/4" x 1" x 22" heat-treated alloy steel.
5' and 6' Width units are equipped with heavier undercarriage and 10 x 3" semi-pneumatic tires. Five(5) working positions. Teeth are 1/4" x 1" x 22" heat-treated alloy steel.
The Model MR2 is designed for use with tractors equipped with category "0" or "1" 3-point hitches. Teeth are 1/4" x 1" x 22" heat-treated alloy steel. 10 x 2.75" semi-pneumatic caster wheels are optional.
The MR3 fits tractors with category "1" three(3) point hitch and is available in 6,7 and 8-foot widths. Teeth are a hefty 5/16" x 1" x 28" heat-treated alloy steel. 10 x 3" semi-pneumatic caster wheels are optional.
The Model TA1 adds more workability to riding tractors, ATV's & UTV's. Designed for lawn and garden riding tractors, ATV's & UTV's of lower horse power capacities. This four-foot Trailer-Type Rake may be drawn in three positions: straight across, or angled to discharge material either to right or left. Also available w 1-7/8" ball (TA14"B").
The Model TA2 offers the most efficient soil-working method. Designed specifically for riding tractors of 10 H.P. and up, the Model TA2 Rake is a combination that makes short work of tedious soil-working jobs. The Model TA2 enables one man to cover large areas quickly, at less cost than with other methods used today. Also available with 1-7/8" ball (TA2"B")
The York Model RS, combines scarifying, blading, raking...removes stones and debris...spreads topsoil...also pulverizes and mulches. Designed for use by landscape and seeding contractors, nurseries, park maintenance departments, estates, golf courses, cemeteries, beaches, schools, resorts and recreational areas.
The Model RW Landscape Rake is designed and built for a new breed of grounds maintenance tractors in the 20 to 35 horsepower range. Rugged welded steel construction and a choice of a 6, 7 or 8 foot working width make this unit a perfect work-mate with any tractor to handle a wide variety of soil-working jobs.
The Model RI is available in two versions, Landscape or Heavy. The Landscape version uses 1" teeth and 1" spacing for a finer finish. The Heavy uses 1-1/4" teeth and 1-1/2" spacing for a coarser finish. Optional hydraulic angle and interchangeable rake sections make this model the favorite among landscape and construction pros.
