RF Utility balers were purposely developed for smaller, lower-specification tractors, with minimal power and hydraulic flow requirements. Only two hydraulic remotes are required--one for the pickup and one for the tailgate.
The pickup is key to baler performance. RF Utility balers feature a 2.0-meter pickup, while the RF450 SuperFeed™ pickup is 2.25 meters wide. These extra-wide pickups are ideal for consuming large windrows from high-yielding crops.
The chain and slat system quickly tumbles crop material to start the baling process. As the bale forms, the chains and slats shape the bale, increasing pressure on incoming material to form a lower density core, ideal for feeding and bedding, while applying maximum density on the outside third of the bale which contains the most hay, forming a dense water repelling shell.
The simple RF baler design makes adding new twine or net quick and easy, right from ground level. Add up to four spools of twine and two rolls of net wrap under an opening panel at the front of the baler. There are no special clips or fasteners to fiddle with – just follow simple installation settings and you are ready for work.
New Holland’s leadership in hay and forage equipment stems from a passion to provide you with equipment that makes your jobs easier, more efficient and more profitable. That’s exactly what the latest generation of Roll-Belt™ Series round balers delivers. Adjustments and routine servicing are designed with simplicity in mind. A wide array of models feature durable pickups and smooth feeding systems that give you increased capacity to bale faster than ever. Innovative precision solutions like IntelliBale™, in-cab density control, and factory moisture sensing help you make more informed decisions on the go.
Building perfect square-shouldered bales starts with a pickup that delivers a clean sweep and reliable feeding. That’s why all Roll-Belt™ pickups are designed to be tough, with strong tine bars and intermediate reel supports that resist bending. They deliver a clean sweep with a double-cammed reel drive, a heavy-duty steel roller and a tine windguard that improve both crop flow and capacity for positive, trouble-free feeding.
A dense bale requires a wrapping system capable of keeping it that way. Regardless of whether you equip your baler with a net and twine wrapping system or net only, you’ll get fast, reliable and tight wrapping. Balers with both systems give you the flexibility to choose your preferred tying method for a given crop, custom operations, or to save net when tying off a partial bale.
To ensure that you stay productive, Roll-Belt™ round balers have a wide array of standard features designed with you in mind. In fact, even base models come with more standard features than the competition. From new styling that provides you with greater visibility for improved safety and servicing to simple features that increase your productivity, like banked grease zerks and a standard hydraulic pickup lift, you can rest assured that you’ll be ready to roll as soon as the conditions are right.
Pro-Belt™ Series round balers deliver maximum dependability and performance to enhance the productivity of professional haymakers and contractors. Regardless of crop, the Pro-Belt 450 and 460 build high-density, square-shouldered bales time and time again. Build your business by making top-quality bales with a round baler that’s built for business.
Professional-grade baling requires a robust driveline and pickup. For Pro-Belt™ balers, that starts with the strong TwinDrive™ gearbox, which evenly distributes PTO power to both sides of the baler for smooth operation and ultimate reliability. Along with a premium oil-filled cut-out clutch and heavy-duty drives with high-quality chains, commercial-grade performance comes standard.
The Pro-Belt™ bale chamber is a simple design with few moving parts, which means maximum durability, less maintenance, and greater productivity. Only two fixed bale formation rollers are required to provide aggressive rolling action inside the chamber. When combined with the four, 11-inch-wide, steeply angled premium endless belts, tight cores are quickly and easily formed, leading to dense bales time and time again.
A dense bale requires a wrapping system capable of keeping it that way. Our renowned EdgeWrap™ system ensures that net wrap goes over the edge of bales to help them retain their shape for improved protection, handling and storage. This system features our latest generation duckbill, which has a shorter net path into the chamber for even faster wrapping. Three spreader rolls maintain uniform coverage across the entire bale and work with the net wrap system, which is wider than the bale chamber, to place the net over each bale’s edge.
Pro-Belt™ round balers offer you a host of precision tools to improve your baling experience. From a monitor solution that’s most convenient for your tractor to New Holland precision solutions like IntelliBale™, you’ll work smarter and faster than ever before.
To ensure that you stay productive, the Pro-Belt™ Series has been designed with you in mind. These balers feature an array of helpful standard features, like wide-opening side shields, as well as simple service features, including banked grease points and an automatic oiling system that’s standard. When the conditions are right, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you'll be ready to roll.
